Go Halal Life is an accessible, WCAG-compliant directory app designed and built from the ground up to help Muslims discover verified halal food options with ease. The product was shaped through in-depth research, user interviews, surveys, persona development, and a seamless end-to-end design and development process.
Muslims in the U.S. struggled to find reliable and trustworthy halal food options. Existing platforms lacked verified data, accessibility standards, and inclusive design, leading to a fragmented and frustrating user experience. There was a clear need for a solution that ensured accurate discovery while meeting ADA and WCAG accessibility guidelines.
Problem
Despite growing demand, Muslims lacked a reliable, accessible platform to find halal food. Existing directories were outdated, inconsistent, and not ADA-compliant, leaving users underserved and struggling to confidently discover authentic halal dining experiences nearby.

We built a reliable, accessible platform for halal discovery. Simplified user flows, location-based filtering, and verified listings improved accuracy and ease of use. A WCAG-compliant design system ensured clear navigation, helping users confidently find halal dining nearby.
